Specialized Vehicle Industry in Suizhou Exceeds 100 Billion Yuan in Output Value, Reinforcing National Leadership

Recently, it was learned from the Suizhou Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology that in the first three quarters of 2023, Suizhou's specialized vehicle industry achieved a total output value of 102 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18%, surpassing the 100-billion-yuan mark for the first time. This further solidifies its industry status as the "Capital of Specialized Vehicles in China."

This further solidifies its industry status as the "Capital of Specialized Vehicles in China."
As one of the largest specialized vehicle production bases in China, Suizhou is home to leading enterprises such as Qixing Group and Chenli Automobile. Its product portfolio covers over 500 varieties across ten major categories, including sanitation trucks, fire trucks, tanker trucks, and emergency equipment vehicles, accounting for more than 20% of the national market share. This year, Suizhou has accelerated industrial transformation and upgrading, with the output of new energy specialized vehicles increasing by 35% year-on-year through intelligent upgrades and the application of new energy technologies, becoming a new growth driver.
A spokesperson for the Suizhou municipal government stated that the city will focus on the "specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative" development direction in the future. Plans include establishing a national-level specialized vehicle testing center and collaborating with universities to cultivate technical talent, with the goal of forming a 150-billion-yuan industrial cluster by 2025.
